The China Central Television Headquarters is located in Chaoyang District with a total floor area of about 550,000 square meters. The main building consists of two towers, which, because of its unique shape, has become a popular scenic spot in the city, attracting many visitors every day. The innovative structure of the building is the result of the long-term cooperation between Chinese and foreign architects, which not only embodies the awareness of environmental protection, but also greatly saves the building materials. CCTV headquarters has a special passageway through the building to showcase the studios and the history of the CCTV to the public. There, visitors can also enjoy a spectacular view of the Forbidden City and other parts of Beijing.
