Spring Festival Gala On CCTV
The CCTV Spring Festival Gala used to be important to the Chinese people.
But now the Gala is being challenged by a growing number of people，especially by younger generations.It is increasingly difficult to cater for all tastes.
Some individuals argue that it should be abandoned or replaced by other programs.In spite of that,numbers of mid-aged people and senior citizens uphold the importance ofthe traditional performance.Most ofpeople view this gala as an annual staple on the traditional Chinese Spring Festival Eve.They all enjoy a restless night and glue their eyes on the television.
I don’t agree with the view that the grand gala should be canceled.Undoubtedly, it plays an important role in the celebration of Chinese New Year.I am hoping to see a vivid and meaningful show this year.
