    四级翻译之常见错误：

　　(一) 主谓一致

　　例如，Those students who was previously transferred to city schools for better education are now moving back to their local rural schools. 在该句中，those students表复数意义，所以从句中应相应使用were与之搭配。

　　(二) 词性误用

　　例如，the possibility of nuclear accidents can be reduced to a minimize level. 因为划线部分在冠词“a”后，名词“level”前，所以此处应为形容词，而非动词minimize，所以将其改为minimum。

　　(三) 标点符号

　　例如，More and more young people are interested in Chinese tourism, this is a new trend in recent years.在例句中， this为代词，不能连接两个独立的句子。可在后一分句前添加and，变为一个完整的句子;或可添加which变成从句;也可将逗号变成分号或者句号。

　　(四) 名词单复数

　　例如，Nowadays, tea has become one of the most popular beverage in the world. 在“be one of the+形容词+名词复数”结构中，其中的名词一定要用复数形式。因此，需要将beverage变为beverages。

　　(五) 混淆词义

　　例如，Tea drinking reached Japan in the 6th century…原句为“饮茶在六世纪传到日本……”，其中“传到”表示“传播”的含义，而“reach”表示所能达到的范围或距离，用在此处并不能体现“传播”的意思，因此，需要将其改为“was spread into/或was introduced into。

　　(六) 形容词作主语

　　例如，The growing popular of the Internet results in great social changes. 单一的形容词是不能作主语的，popular是形容词，要将其改为名词popularity 或popularization。

　　(七) 双谓语错句

　　例如，Chinese netizens are usually differ from American netizens. 在例句中，differ from本身就可作谓语动词，所以不必再加be动词。可将错句中的are去掉，或将differ改为形容词different。

　　(八) 逻辑错误

　　当分词或分词短语作状语时，考生容易将其逻辑主语和主句主语混淆，出现主语前后不一致的情况。例如，Having used to cure pain, a Chinese emperor discovered the tea more than 5000 years ago. 在例句中，have used的形式说明动作已经发生在discover之前，根据常识，茶被发现以后，才能用来治愈疾病，二者有先后关系。错句将先后关系颠倒，发生了逻辑错误。因此，需要将前后语序调整，处理为“Having discovered the tea more than 5000 years ago, a Chinese emperor used tea to cure pain.”。

　　(九) 介词短语后动名词的使用

　　例如，It has been listed as an endangered species due to the number is limited. 在例句中，due to相当于because of, as a result of，其中to是介词，后跟名词或动名词，不接从句。因此，需要将从句改为名词性短语。

　　(十) 直译

　　例如，“In China, some people make bread with flour, but for most people, they use flour to make Mantou and noodles.”“馒头”为中国特色词汇，但是目前已经拥有固定的译法—“steamed buns”。
