be dying to do something
汉语中我们用“渴”来表示强烈的愿望，从而有了“如饥似渴”“渴望”等生动的词语。而英语中的“die”则有异曲同工之妙，也是用来形容非常急切的愿望或强烈的愿望。Be dying to do something或者是be dying forsomething是“想得要命”的意思，意思是desire excessively。
