Susan: Really? I disagree. I thought it was very good. and the director had manythings to say. Almost everyone else seemed
to like it too. I heard a few people talking afterwards.

Tom: Yeah, maybe they did. But I personally didn't get it and thought there was a lotmissing.
汤姆：是啊，也许吧。但是我个人还是觉得不太懂，而且影片有很多缺憾。
Susan: Like what?
苏珊：比如说?
Tom: The ending was not very clear. Did the guy get what he really wanted? Or did heget what we thought he deserved?
汤姆：结局不是很明了。那家伙得到了他真正想要的吗?或者说他得到了我们认为他应该得到的吗?
Susan: I can't give my approval to that. It seems clear to me. He got what was comingto him.
苏珊：我不能赞同这一点。我觉得结局很清楚。他得到了他该得到的东西。
Tom: I don't see that. It was just sort of left out there with no real conclusion.
汤姆：我可没看出来。我觉得只是把事情撂在那儿，根本没有真正的结局。
Susan: We'll have to agree to disagree then.

Tom: Agreed.
汤姆：我赞成。
