leave out
exp. To omit something. (遗漏，省略)
e.g. Your paper is nicely written, but you left your references out.
你的论文写得很好，但是你漏掉了参考文献。
e.g. I did talk to Mom, I just left out the part about getting detention.
我的确和妈妈谈过话了，只是漏掉了关禁闭的部分。
e.g. We weren't sure if the facts were correct, so we left that section out of the report.
我们不确定事实是否正确，所以我们在报告中把那部分删去了。
e.g. You've left out the decimal point on this price tag.

1. forget about：忘却，忘记
e.g. Let bygones be bygones and let' s forget about our disputes and be friends again.

e.g. I shall forget about dieting today. I'm just going to indulge, ie eat and drink what I like.

2. prepare for：为……做准备
e.g. The front desk must prepare for a surge of arrving guests.
