变异：give a bad name to someone
exp. Spoil the reputation of someone. (损坏某人的名誉)
—— I can't believe how little you care about your students!—— Mike, you give a bad name toteachers!

e.g. Such a fault gives a bad name to you.

e.g. I try to keep in touch with current events by reading the newspapers.

e.g. He expressed the hope that we would keep in touch with his firm.

2.mind one’s own business：别管闲事
e.g. As he was always interfering, I told him to mind his own business.
因他常来干涉, 我叫他少管闲事。
e.g. He asked me if I was married, so I told him to mind his own business.
他问我结婚了没有，我叫他少管闲事。
3.by no means：绝不
e.g. His story is by no means convincing.
他讲的话丝毫不足令人相信。
e.g. The problem is by no means as simple as we first thought.
问题决不像我们当初想象的那么单纯。
e.g. He is by no means a pleasant man to deal with.
他决不是一个好打交道的爽快人。
