doze off
exp. To fall asleep, typically unexpectedly or for just a short period of time. (不知不觉地打起盹来)
e.g. Whew, I must have dozed off there for a few minutes. What did I miss?

e.g. I dozed off in front of the TV for a few minutes.

e.g. Do not doze off in the middle of the meeting .
不要在开会中打盹儿。
e.g. Before I had time to doze off again, I was disturbed by a rattling of plates and dishes inthe servant's hall.

四级口语第三，语汇积累
1. so...that...：如此......以至于......
e.g. This teacher is so kind that we all like him.
这个老师非常和谒，我们都喜欢他。
e.g. He ran so quickly that we all couldn’t catch up with him.
他跑得很快，我们都追不上他。
e.g. He has so many books that I can’t count them.
他有很多书，我数也数不清。
2.in class：在上课，在课堂上
Children who talk too much in class get under the teacher's skin.
班长随便说话的孩子闹得老师不安宁。
e.g. I will amend my ways and stop talking in class.
我要改正错误，不在课堂上说话了。
e.g. He slept badly at night and couldn't concentrate in class at daytime.
他夜里睡不好, 白天上课时思想开小差。
e.g. She was kept in for an hour for talking in class.
她因上课说话被罚留校一小时。
