　　一、修饰比较级

　　any和no用作副词意为at all时，可与比较级的形容词和副词搭配使用。如：

　　It doesn’t get any easier. 这并未变得容易起来。

　　Is he any better this morning?—No, he’s no better. 他今早好一些了吗?——没有，比以前没有好多少。

　　I don’t think this is any better than I expected. 我不认为这比我预料的有什么好。

　　It isn’t safe to go any farther in this fog. 在这大雾里再往前走是不安全的。

　　A notice at the end of the road warns people not to go any further. 路的尽头处的通告警告人们不要再往前走。

　　用于not…any more [longer]构成习语：

　　I wasn’t enjoying life any more. 我不再享受生活了。

　　Landlords say they will not wait any longer. 房东们说，他们不会再等待了。

　　二、修饰某些原形

　　any和no作副词用时，可与某些原级形容词搭配使用，尤其用于good (any good) 和different (anydifferent)。如：

　　Is that book any good?一It’s no good at all. 那本书好吗?——一点也不好。

　　So is it any different to any other car? 那么它与其他车有什么区别呢?

　　This school isn’t any different from the last one. 这所学校和上一所没有什么区别。

　　I hadn’t seen her for years, but she wasn’t any different. 我多年没见她了，可是她一点儿也没变。

　　Things wouldn’t be any different if we were at home. 这个假日过得很乏味，还不如回家去。
