Simple as the picture is, it aims to tell us that it is not the right thing for parents to make the so-called big decision for their children.

　　The author of the picture attempts to convey a message that when the children are mature enough, parents should allow them to make care decisions on their own. Put it another way/ in other words/ that is to say,children should have the right to make decision about their future instead of always following their parents’ advice without their own thoughts. Making choice can help children to be responsible for themselves, which is an essential ability for the young to develop, because parents cannot company their children forever.
