　　【参考译文】Chinese gardens are unique landscapes which came into being after three thousand years of evolution. It includes not only large gardens built for the royal family entertainment, but alsoprivate gardens built by academics, businessmen and retired government officials to get rid of the noisy outside world. These gardens constitute a micro landscape which intends to express the due harmonious relationshipbetween human and nature. There are walls around typical Chinese gardens and ponds, rockeries, trees, flowers and plants and various buildings connected by winding paths and corridors inside them. Walking in the garden, people can see a series of well-designed landscapes in front of them, just like landscape pictures.
