　　采用反译法。“都…”是一个肯定概念，双重否定更能表达出这个语气。因此译成: There is no major metropolisacross the world without a famous land markrepresenting it.

　　2.坐落在滚滚黄浦江旁，两公里长的黄埔滩，是观光客人与游人的必然。

　　分析:

　　在英语中，“黄埔滩”应该属于“黄浦江旁”的一部分，因此不能译成“Seating…”,直接用“On”来表示即可，“黄埔滩”只能在一旁，翻译时要把这层意思译出来，即: On the one side of the bank of roaming HuangpuRiver。
